Through our unparalleled selection of the finest leathers used to handcraft our shoes we hope that they continue to compliment your wardrobe for many years to come.
To protect the luxurious nature of your Belanci shoes, we recommend the following:

1. Before wearing, and on a regular basis treat your Belanci shoes with a leather protectant or weather proofer to prevent stains and other elements that can ruin the finish and shorten the life of your shoes

2. Let them rest at least 12 hours between your next wear

3. Regularly condition your shoes to help keep the leather continually soft and moisturised. Ensure to purchase a conditioner that is specific to the shoe leather type and look for a natural conditioner that absorbs into the material of the shoe, as opposed to a synthetic conditioner that sits on top of the surface.

4. Clean off dirt after every wear. The cleaning method depends on the shoe's material:

Colour dyed leather can be polished and conditioned with a leather lotion applied with a soft cloth.

Nubuck & Suede leather looks best when brushed; although special suede brushes are available, a clean toothbrush works just as well. Never use cream or oils on nubuck or suede. Avoid getting these materials wet however in the unfortunate event, let them dry naturally and then clean with a suede/nubuck brush.

Patent Leather There are only two simple steps to care for patent leather: cleaning and shining. Dust should be removed with a dry, but very soft cloth (chamois or shoe shine cloth). Cleaning is easily done with a mild soap and a wet cloth or ideally using gentle leather cleaners.

5. When not being worn, store shoes in your Belanci signature dust bag. This will keep your shoes clean and prevent them from rubbing against each other in the box

6. Dry shoes properly if they get wet. For leather shoes clean off the water with a clean cloth and then stuff with newspaper. Let them air dry slowly away from a heat source.
